Dallas Texas Restaurant’s
Since moving to the city of Dallas in June of 2023, I’ve spent time diving into the food scene and explored a lot of highly recommended dining spots that truly showcase the area's culinary talents. From the mouth-watering barbecue at Terry Blacks BBQ to the best, Tex-Mex at Las Palmas, every single place has offered a unique and unforgettable taste of what Dallas has to offer. For an inviting and yummy brunch experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Bread Winners, where the fluffy cinnamon rolls are an absolute must-try that you won’t regret. If you're in the mood for something sweet and indulgent, be sure not to miss out on the delicious pies at Emporium Pies. These wonderful experiences have shaped my culinary journey in Dallas, and I’m genuinely excited to share these fantastic recommendations with fellow food enthusiasts who are wanting to try something new!
Terry Blacks BBQ

Las Palmas Tex-Mex
Las Palmas Tex-Mex is a restaurant that perfectly embodies the fusion of traditional Mexican flavors with a Texas twist. You must start your meal with their famous queso blanco dip served with freshly made tortilla chips. For mains, the Akaushi Waygu fajitas, are where it’s at. They come out sizzling with an array of grilled peppers and onions, served alongside warm corn or flour tortillas and all the fixings. If fajitas aren’t your style then you must try the tacos! With options like Birria Brisket, shrimp, and vegetarian, there’s something to satisfy everyone. Don’t forget to pair your meal with a margarita or one of their handcrafted cocktails for the perfect balance.

With a well-curated wine list and handcrafted cocktails, The Charles offers a memorable dining experience that celebrates culinary craftsmanship.

Sixty Vines combines a passion for wine with a commitment to fresh, seasonal cuisine. The drink concept features an extensive selection of wines on tap. The menu has Mediterranean-inspired dishes, highlighting farm-to-table ingredients and bold flavors. With a stylish and inviting atmosphere, Sixty Vines is perfect for casual dining, social gatherings, or special occasions. Sixty Vines also has one of the best pork chops I’ve ever had, its a must try.

Haywire
A modern American restaurant that embodies the spirit of the Texas frontier. The restaurant has a rustic yet chic design, with elements like reclaimed wood and industrial accents. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes showcasing southern flavors and classic comfort foods with a contemporary twist. Signature items include Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken, hand-cut steaks, and unique appetizers. This restaurant is great for a unique dining experience with a group of friends since they offer seating options like an picturesque trailer or at other locations a tipi or airstream.

Hudson House
The restaurant features a vibrant, coastal-inspired atmosphere, complete with stylish decor and a welcoming vibe. The menu highlights a variety of dishes, from fish and shellfish to classic comfort food. You can enjoy a selection of artisanal cocktails to complement your meal, my favorite being one of the Martinis. I especially love the original Highland Park location during Christmas as the restaurant goes all out with decorations.

The Honor Bar
The Honor Bar in Dallas is a cozy, upscale eatery known for its inviting atmosphere and delicious menu. It offers a range of American comfort food with a modern twist, featuring fresh ingredients and artisanal touches. The ambiance is relaxed yet sophisticated, making it a great spot for casual dining or special dinners. On the menu you can enjoy a selection of burgers, salads, and seafood dishes, along with a list of beverages, including craft cocktails and wines. The dishes I recommend below are a favorite amongst many and the Emerald Kale & Rotisserie Chicken Salad is a must try.

Whether you dining in for breakfast, lunch or dinner you are sure to have a good time at The Henry. Make sure you checkout the rooftop during Christmas as the restaurant turns into a winter wonderland.

Drakes Hollywood
A trendy restaurant that combines a old Hollywood atmosphere with a creative menu. Dining here truly transports you back in time. You can enjoy everything from gourmet pizzas and fresh seafood to delicious mac 'n' cheese and hearty steaks. The bar features an extensive list of craft cocktails and fine wines tto complement your meal. Don’t miss their incredible 24-layer strawberry cake—it's a must-try, especially for birthday celebrations!
